For 10 years, the Cadillac V-Club has been the "Presenting Sponsor" of the Indoor Auto Show hosted by The Drive to Remember Charity which is a 100% volunteer operated charity based in Longview, Texas. Founded by Cameron Williams. "Drive To Remember" was initiated as a response to the lack of awareness and support for Alzheimer's disease. As caregivers for his father, both his mother and Cameron experienced many difficulties throughout the progression of the disease until it took his father's life on December 8th, 2016.
Not only were there difficulties in caring for his loved one, but his family also struggled with explaining the disease to the average person. Drive To Remember's main objective is to host public events that draw attention, which allows them to properly engage with the community and raise awareness for a disease that currently has no cure. The annual in-door D2R car show is an event the Cadillac V-Club continues to support each year. In 2021 Cadillac headquarters shipped two new Blackwing models to display at the event and the Cadillac V-Club has year to year been the largest single financial contributor to the event.
