  Cadillac V-Club members are invited to participate. This is a regional event open to all local chapter and regional members and sponsors.   
  
  As a Cadillac V-Club member your $20 car show entry is waived and you will receive 2 complimentary $35 crawfish platters.  Plus you can swim and enjoy the hospitality and amenities offered by this venue.

  You must RSVP register on CadillacVClub.com if you plan to attend and arrival by 10:00AM is mandatory.   It is not necessary for you to call the Lost Lagoon office for registration in the car show as long as you have RSVP registered as a member of the Cadillac V-Club.  We will provide the Lost Lagoon staff a list of all attendees from the V-Club. 
  
  This is a one-day event but if you want to stay overnight Saturday evening, there may be cottages or camper rentals available. Contact Lost Lagoon and mention you are attending as a member of the Cadillac V-Club to check availability to stay overnight at this venue. There are hotels available in the city of El Campo.

  ABOUT LOST LAGOON
  The Lost Lagoon is a luxury campground with the world's largest RV Resort swimming pool, a Wibit water course and over 200 concrete RV sites with free wifi for all sites. Their luxury amenities offer a family-friendly environment with an on-site cafe, full bar and golf cart rentals.
  
  Before the Lost Lagoon became the Lost Lagoon, it was once a residential home with the worlds largest residential pool, and was even featured on HGTV (check out the video HERE)! Consisting of two homes, a pool and a large barn, the rest of the property was ranch land for livestock (see photo to the left). In 2017, the owners decided to sell and that is when the El Campo Lost Lagoon dream was born. Stephen and Kenna purchased the property and spent 18 months redesigning the entire property to their specific vision.

  The Holy Grail of Tracks. United States Best F1 Track, 3.4 miles of F1 history, with 20 turns, off & on camber, long straights. 133 feet of elevation change. F1 garages all to ourselves.

  No speed limits, no pedestrians, no stoplights, but best of all – no tickets. The Cadillac V-Club in partnership with Hooked on Driving (HOD) will provide you with an experienced instructor to help guide you through the event, one on one, as you learn how to handle your car at the limit. You set your own goals and only go as fast as you feel comfortable going. Progress as far as you wish in your own car at your own pace, become a safer driver on the street, and have a blast along the way!

  High Performance Driver Education (HPDE) refers to a track day held on a dedicated road racing track designed to teach drivers proper high speed driving in a controlled environment. 
  
  
  
  All registered drivers will be entered into a blind drawing for 50% discount coupon to purchase a set of Michelin tires of their choice.  The drawing will be held at the reception dinner on Friday evening.

  The cost to participate will be determined by the HOD run group you select. 

  • Do NOT try to get up at 4:00 am and make a long drive to the track. Go the night before and stay nearby so you can arrive fresh. This will be a long and exhilarating day… we don’t want you napping after lunch!!
  • Wear sunscreen and bring apparel for any changes in conditions.
  • Be early to the meetings. Get to know the drivers next to you in the paddock.
  • Experienced drivers will be super helpful to you – but only listen to our Driving Coaches for your introduction on track technique. Feel free to ask about other cars, or if you find one like yours, ask about what they’ve done to it for the track.
  • Be at all your group meetings and listen!

  • 
    It is not mandatory that you drive your Cadillac V-Series vehicle on the track in order to participate. If you own a purpose-built track car or a Corvette, Camaro or some other "track ready" vehicle, you are welcome to register and drive that vehicle as a member of the Cadillac V-Club.

    NOTE: An annual Hooked On Driving (HOD) $49 membership is mandatory to attend any HOD event.  Each driver is required to pay this HOD membership fee.

    In order to participate, you are required to RSVP and pay in advance of the event via the Hooked on Driving website with the V-Club discount code you will be provided via email.  Your entry is not guaranteed until your payment is received by HOD.  A wait list will open for RSVP registration when the event is sold out by "run group".

    Be sure to read the Hooked on Driving cancellation/refund policy.  No exceptions to this policy.
    
    Access to load-in to the property to drop your trailers and vehicles will be available starting at 6:00pm on Friday May 30.
    
    The digital signaling system will be used in addition to physical corner workers to help communicate with drivers on track.
    
    89, 93 and 101 Octane Unleaded fuel is available at fuel station with use of credit card.

    Basic requirements include:

    1. You must be a licensed driver
    2. Drive a vehicle that will pass a track inspection
    3. SA2015 or SA2020 helmets are required for the event. 2015 Helmets will be permitted until 2025 model helmets are available in stores. Motorcycle or M helmets are not allowed.
    4. Helmets and HANS devices are available for rent in a variety of sizes at the event.
    5. Car numbers are mandatory at all tracks. They must be on both sides of the car, at least 6" high, and easily visible to the corner workers. HOD numbers are available for purchase with on-line registration or at the track.

    Sewell Cadillac and the Cadillac V-Club will provide bottled water & snacks throughout the day along with lunch at no cost to drivers who registered and paid. Spectators and pit crew members must pay for their own lunch.  Friday evening there will be a reception & dinner at 8:00PM.  Location to be announced via email to all attendees who have RSVP registered to confirm their commitment to attend this event.
    
    You will receive notification from HOD regarding the time when gates will open on Saturday for access to the pit area.  HOD will also provided a schedule for the entire day, i.e. driver check-in, driver's meeting, lunch time and times for each run group.  If you RSVP registered, check your email inbox for the latest information and updates.  All drivers and spectators will be provided a digital "photo id" in advance which must be displayed at the CoTA gate per the instructions provided to you via email.

  Join the Cadillac V-Club for our 2nd Quarter event on Saturday, June 7, 2025 for a something a little different than our normal meet 'n greet events. We are participating in the annual Douglas Thompson Road Rally CAFE CRUISE #10.  
  
  RSVP registration is mandatory to attend and all RSVP's must be received before Friday, June 6 at 5PM.

  The cruise will start at Bent Bucket Bakery in Palo Pinto County off US 281 and south of IH-20. We will begin meeting up in the parking lot at 8:00 AM. Make sure to park in front of the buildings that sit to the south of Bent Bucket Bakery, so that we can make room for their regulars to park out front.
  
  Bent Bucket Bakery is a great place to grab a quick breakfast and a coffee (you will not be disappointed in the quality of their food).  Breakfast is "dutch treat" and will not be covered by the Cadillac V-Club.  Lunch will be covered compliments of the V-Club during the cruise after lunch we will cruise to Mel's Sweets & Eats in Strawn for ice cream (dutch treat).  The official Q2 event will end at this time.
  
  We’ll have our drivers meeting outside by the rockn’ chair and split up in smaller groups at 9:30 AM. The first small group will leave at 10:00 AM. The cruise will wind through the North Texas Hill Country before we stop for lunch in Thurber/Mingus. We always split up in three groups to avoid overcrowding The Smokestack Restaurant, New York Hill Restaurant and Mel’s Diner. We’ll start back up after lunch and cruise in our small groups to Mel’s Sweets & Eats in Strawn. As always, we’ll finish up with a few raffle drawings before sending everyone on their way. The route will be provided at the driver's meeting.  

  We are adding a longer route from breakfast to lunch this year. And we will end with a new route that will wind through Stephens County and that will end in Strawn with ice cream and raffle drawings

  All Cadillac V-Club members who RSVP register will receive an email with any updates to the route map or cancellation in case of inclement weather.  For those members that would like to meet and cruise out to Lipan as a group, meet at Racetrack off Western Center- 2921 Western Center Blvd, Fort Worth at 6:45 a.m. to fill up on fuel (they have E-85).  The group will depart promptly at 7:00am for the 60 minute cruise to Lipan, Texas.
  
  All Cadillac V-Club members and sponsors are invited to join us for lunch compliments of the Cadillac V-Club.  If you plan to bring a guest, your guest fee is due at the time of your RSVP registration.  Prospective members are also welcome to join us at this event and you may bring a guest for a nominal fee payable at the time you RSVP register.

  If you RSVP and then your plans change, please be sure to cancel your registration so we have an accurate count of attendees.

  ABOUT DOUGLAS H. THOMPSON ROAD RALLY

  On December 7, 1969 while conducting a routine traffic stop 4 miles east of Weatherford on U.S. 80 (modern-day U.S. 180) four miles east of Weatherford., TX, Trooper Thompson was struck by a hit and run driver.  The Douglas H. Thompson Road Rally is held annually in his honor.  Gone but not forgotten.
  

  As he was talking with the driver of a car he had stopped for speeding, the suspect car came up from behind him, struck his cruiser, and then him as he stood beside the speeder's car.

  Six months later, a car found abandoned on a street in Fort Worth led police to the 44-year-old owner, who was arrested after an investigation revealed that damage to his car matched the paint and parts from the car that fled from the accident scene. He was convicted of failing to stop and render aid and sentenced to two years.

  Trooper Thompson had served with the Texas Highway Patrol for four years and was stationed at Weatherford. He was survived by his wife and son.

  Experience the thrill of driving your personal vehicle around the 1.5-mile speedway oval, all to benefit Speedway Children’s Charities. After you take your laps, you can celebrate with a picture taken in Victory Lane and enjoy the car show, live music, food and beverages!  If preferred, you can depart immediately after the laps.
  
  The required donation is only $60 and you will also receive one Laps for Charity t-shirt. You must register and submit payment in advance.  We also have the Douglas H. Thompson Road Rally event on this same date. Be sure to RSVP register for the Road Rally if you plan to attend both events on Saturday, June 7.
  
  Please RSVP to confirm your attendance as a Cadillac V-Club member (or prospective member and Cadillac V-Series owner with the Cadillac V-Club).  Registration and ticket purchase is now open and you must REGISTER ONLINE in advance via the Speedway Children's Charities website to submit your $60 charitable donation payment at the Speedway Children's Charity website to reserve your spot. 
  
  By RSVP'ing via with the Cadillac V-Club, you will get 5 parade laps around the track with the Cadillac V-Club "group" instead of the normal 3 laps.

  • You MUST pre-register and pay the donation for the event; on-site ticket sales will not be available
  • Printed ticket and signed waiver (for all participants) are required for entry
  • All participants MUST remain inside their vehicles and observe guidelines for safety and social distancing
  • Plan to arrive NLT 5:30PM so we can enter the facility as a group from the parking area.  We must all arrive and enter the TMS pit area together as a group.

  NOTE: All drivers must be 18 years of age or older, and passengers must be 6 years of age. Safety belts must be worn by all occupants. A TMS pace car will set the speed limit for these single-file, no passing allowed laps and no lagging back to "chase the group".  Participants who fail to comply with rules will be escorted from the track.
