Cruise Puyallup: Where Community, Classics, and Cruising Come to Life

What started as a nostalgic drive through town has grown into one of Washington’s most vibrant grassroots automotive movements. Founded by Mark Crosby in July 2020, Cruise Puyallup began as a way to bring family and friends together during the isolation of the pandemic. Inspired by a visit to Cruise Enumclaw, Mark launched a Facebook group that quickly gained thousands of followers—and just like that, the first official cruise rolled out with over 800 cars filling the streets of downtown Puyallup.

Since that memorable night, Cruise Puyallup has exploded in popularity, drawing thousands of vehicles and spectators from across the state—from Bellingham to Ocean Shores—to cruise, connect, and celebrate a shared love for cars of all shapes, sizes, and eras. Even the 2024 season saw packed streets and perfect weather for each event.

But it’s more than just a car cruise.

Cruise Puyallup is about reviving local pride, supporting downtown businesses, and creating multi-generational memories. With deep roots in the Puyallup community, Mark and the team work hand-in-hand with the City of Puyallup, Main Street Association, Chamber of Commerce, and the Washington State Fair to make sure each event runs smoothly and gives back. From supporting local charities to boosting foot traffic for local shops, Cruise Puyallup is helping shape the future of the town it loves.

Looking ahead, the vision is clear: continue honoring those we’ve lost, inspire new generations of cruisers, and expand beyond the road—with more events, deeper community impact, and even bigger goals.

Whether you’re a longtime cruiser or a first-time visitor, Cruise Puyallup is more than an event—it’s a tribute, a tradition, and a whole lot of fun.
